What is the TovCode track?

Not a regular coding course. Real product development, from day one.

TovCode is a TovTech program for people who want to build with AI, not just learn about it. You leave with proof of capability: real products running in production, professional documentation, and a capstone project that speaks for itself in a job interview.

What it is

  • Building real software products with Claude Code and the Claude API, from prompt engineering to full-stack apps and agents
  • Working in production, not on localhost: everything you build goes live
  • A cumulative technical portfolio: a landing page, a full-stack app, and a capstone project, with organized documentation
  • Close support: a personal AI guide, a human mentor, and teamwork with mutual code review

What it is not

  • This is not a theoretical course. You learn by building a real product
  • No degree or prior professional coding experience required
  • Not a replacement for existing therapy or support. The track operates alongside existing support
Who is it for

One track, two starting points

The content, stages, and destination are the same for everyone. A technical foundation (Python and the command line) or completion of TovSpace is required. The support, pace, and adaptations are built around who you are and where you're coming from.

After injury or crisis

You've been through something hard. Now build a career in development.

For people with a mental health disability after stabilization who already have a technical foundation, or who are continuing after TovSpace. You want to build a real profession, not just get back to functioning.

Precision and method are an advantage in development. We built a framework that fits.

With or without a formal diagnosis, this track is for people with an existing technical foundation or those continuing after TovSpace. Do you do well with code, logic, and order, but less well with interviews and small talk?

  • Written progress criteria for every stage, known in advance. No guessing what's expected of you

For both groups: a technical foundation (Python and the command line) or completion of TovSpace is required. TovCode runs on the same hours and price framework as TovSpace, with a personal AI guide, a human mentor, and a written work plan built with you on day one.

Morning

A team morning check-in

Every morning at 9:00: what I did yesterday, what's on for today, what's stuck. The same structure as TovSpace, except that here the result is code that ships to production.

Development

Teamwork on a real product

Four hours a day, four days a week (Mon–Thu), with Claude Code as a work partner: writing, testing, debugging, and deploying. This isn't about exercises; it's about building a product that runs in production.

Support

A personal AI guide alongside a human mentor

Recurring technical questions? The guide explains again and again without judgment. The human mentor is there for questions about process and career.

A typical day: a morning check-in at 9:00 · team development work alongside people in different roles · a guest lecture or workshop on fixed days.

How do you progress?

Four stages, at your pace

We don't require you to reach four hours a day from day one. You start with one hour and increase gradually according to written criteria known in advance.

Entry

A working setup you're comfortable in, and a first technical win.

  • Cognitive training as needed, alongside an introduction to language models (LLMs)
  • Prompt engineering basics: how to talk to AI to get a precise result
  • First steps with Claude Code: running your first command, building a small demo project

You leave with: an active work environment, a first demo project, and hands-on familiarity with Claude Code.

Foundation

A professional workflow, from a landing page to deployment.

  • CLAUDE.md, Memory, and Skills: building a work environment the AI remembers and understands
  • Building a complete landing page, from design to content
  • A real deployment: putting the project live, not just on your own machine

You leave with: your first portfolio item, a landing page live at a real address.

Progression

A complete product, not just a single page.

  • Full-stack app: connecting frontend, backend, and a database
  • Supabase: managing data, permissions, and user authentication
  • Agent loop: building a process where the AI works through a task on its own

You leave with: a complete full-stack app, running in production.

Readiness

A capstone project in production, and a portfolio ready for the job market.

  • MCP (Model Context Protocol): connecting AI tools to data sources and external systems
  • A real capstone project in production: a defined operating cost, full documentation in CLAUDE.md
  • A 10-minute presentation with a live demo, plus mock interviews for AI development roles

You leave with: a capstone project in production · a complete technical portfolio · a resume with real results · a defined target field.

FAQ

What you're probably wondering

About the track

Do I need a coding background to be accepted?

Yes. You need a technical foundation: familiarity with Python and working in a terminal. Completing the TovSpace track also qualifies you.

Is this instead of therapy or support I already have?

No. The track runs alongside any existing therapy or support.

How long does it take?

Nine months: 576 study hours, four days a week (Mon–Thu), four hours a day.

What does the capstone project actually involve?

A real software product running in production, with a defined operating cost and documentation in CLAUDE.md. You present it in 10 minutes with a live demo.

After injury or crisis

What if I can't manage on a given day?

It happens. You missed nothing. The pace is personal, and whatever didn't work today can be revisited tomorrow.

Does the cognitive training continue here too?

Yes, as needed, especially in the first stage. It's integrated into the actual development work, not separate from it.

Do I need a formal diagnosis to be accepted?

Not required. Write to us and we'll check the fit together in a simple, clear admission process.

I don't do well with group conversations. What then?

The morning check-in always follows the same fixed structure. At first, you can just listen, and you can also participate in writing.

What about sensory overload?

The entire track is online from home. You control the lighting, the noise, the breaks, and the environment.
